Tuesday to Sunday, 10.00 to 17.00. Closed on Mondays and, until noon, on Declaration Day.

Free, by timed ticket. Guided rounds at 11.00 and 15.00, forty minutes, thirteen rooms. Book a free ticket.

Room 1 The Founding The Compact of Vellmar, the seven chairs of the Wardens, the first flag.
Room 2 The Compact Constitutional papers, the first Assembly, the ballot boxes of 1804.
Room 3 The Marsh Reeds, black water, peat: the eastern country in maps and specimens.
Room 4 The Courier The dispatch of 1811 under glass, in a script the clerk transcribed phonetically.
Room 5 The Line Stakes, planks and the tools that drove them. A section of causeway, twelve paces.
Room 6 The Regiments Colours, drums and the casualty rolls in their original binding.
Room 7 Coin and Note Marka and pfen from 1804; the plates of the Bank of Schwartzistan.
Room 8 The Press A working hand press of the Herald's first decade. Printed daily at noon.
Room 9 The Gallery The Museum Gold Medal canvases. The current holder hangs at the east end.
Room 10 Iron and Mill Kessel iron, Hollstadt looms, a Norrwick almanac press with its licence displayed.
Room 11 The Table Eel smokers, dumpling moulds, the Sudmark vintages by year.
Room 12 The Game Pfahl: stakes, pits, a plank pitch in miniature, the League's first table.
Room 13 The Line Today The front-line report, read hourly. The chair, set. The glass, filled.
Room 14 Closed for maintenance since 1893 Not open to the public.
